Ken Walker has been many things during his illustrious career in the dance music industry. A ground breaking DJ, record label manager, radio show host and producer, columnist and magazine editor to name a few. His achievements are many including ARIA certified platinum and gold albums (over 20 major compilation and mixed CD releases via Sony, Universal, Warner Music, Vicious Vinyl & EMI), countless national tours supporting both local and international acts and all of our major festivals including Summerdayz, Future Music Festival and The Big Day Out. His cutting edge style of remixing and original mash-ups sees him constantly working alongside the world's finest DJ's and producers including: 2 many DJ's, Martin Solveig, Bob Sinclair, Dirty South, Morgan Page, Calvin Harris, Basement Jaxx, Tocadisco, Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, David Guetta, Grandmaster Flash, DJ Green Lantern, Fred Wreck, Jazzy Jeff and Q Bert. Ken is also a past recipient of the prestigious Ravage Australia testimonial award for excellence and achievement in the Australian Dance Music Industry. Previous awardees include John Course, Andy Van, Kasey Taylor and Sean Quinn. In 2010, and beyond Mr Walker is still as busy as ever, holding an amazing 14 residencies over 5 nights and playing to in excess of 10,000 punters week in week out. He and his business partners Matt Black and Ryan Herbert have established their production company Circus Circus and have already amassed an impressive body of remixes for artists like Jessica Mauboy, Dirty Laundry, Miami Horror, Fabian Gray and Zoe Badwi. On top of all of this, Ken's just inked a new 3 year development deal with Sony Music's strategic marketing department and his latest project 'Smash It 2' is set to drop in February 2011. Wes burst onto the scene at the start of 2010, making an immediate impact. He started his bright DJ'ing career at Lemon Squash Dakota, one of the busiest Thursday nights in Melbourne, and quickly became a crowd favourite due to his unique method of DJ'ing and song choice. He also holds residences at hot spots Cheers, Lemon Squash, The Roxy and Motel Saturdays. He has also played at venues such as Wah Wah, TFU, Q Bar, Circus, Syn Bar, Room, Revolver, Brown Alley, Neverland plus many more. Wes has also played at Valley Vibes Festival and Global Sounds and more recently he has recently teamed up with Mike Metro to produce music that has quickly become a favourite for the crowds. The future looks very bright for this 20 year old DJ/producer so look out for him in 2011.
